Another C64 track this week (and for the forseeable future) This time it’s Martin Galway’s theme from Comic Bakery.

Music Monday – Crazy Comets
I think it’s time for more C64 tunes on Music Monday so what better than Rob Hubbard’s Crazy Comets to kick us off.
Music Monday – Crispy – Licky Licky
This is a track I’ve only recently discovered thanks to ObscureInternet. It’s 90′s eurocheesetastic. The Album isn’t bad either.
Music Monday – Orko’s theme
At the end of human civilisation this will be recognised as our great work of art. It’s Orko’s theme from the American animated television series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe by Shuki Levy and Haim Saban.
Music Monday – Göteborgs Symfoniker – C64 Medley
I haven’t done a music monday in ages, and since there is only ten minutes to Monday left I give you the spine tingling C64 Medley performed by Göteborgs Symfoniker.
A little bit of Rob Hubbard for you.
I haven’t done a post about C64 music post in absolute ages. So when I learned that handsome and multitalented Phil Strahl‘s podcast The Bleepcast has not one but two podcasts dedicated to the works of Rob Hubbard I thought it was time to share.
So if you like a bit of Hubbard check out the BleepCast – Level 6 and BleepCast – Level 7.
Also I’ve got a speical bonus for you. Did you know Rob Hubbard wrote the music for Jet Set Willy? No, well that’s because he only wrote the music for the rather terrible Atari version. Isn’t it weird the worst conversion of this classic gets the best music.
Here’s a Youtube video featuring the music from this rare classic
I’m really spoiling you as I’ve also got this excellent remix of this track by Serge P.
You can download this remix from here; Rob Hubbard – Jet Set Willy (Serge P. remix)
I won Something
The wonderfully named Robinson Mason of the great c64walkabout podcast held a Holiday Remixing Contest, with a prize going to the winner.
I entered this tune;
Despite it not been good, and only taking 15 minutes to create, this tune won. Mainly because it was the only tune entered into the competition, but that’s just a minor detail. My prize was a PC version of the Defender of the Crown Remake.
You can read more about this at c64 walkabout news. For more of my crappy remixes check out C64Glen’s Crappy c64 Remixes .
8bit Video – PIXELS by Patrick Jean.
This is a brilliant 8-Bit inspired video, she if you can spot the all games and the Company logos.
Music Monday – Hazel – Nemesis The Warlock
This week I’ve got a C64 remix for you. It’s Rob Hubbard’s “Nemesis The Warlock” remixed by Hazel, who also made the video.
Music Monday – Press Play on Tape – The Man With The Gun
This week’s track is by The Commodore 64 Revival Band PRESS PLAY ON TAPE. It’s one of their own compositions and a tribute to the single strongest theme in the history of gaming The Man With the Gun. I think both the song and video are excellent, I hope you do.
