The wonderfully named Robinson Mason of the great c64walkabout podcast held a Holiday Remixing Contest, with a prize going to the winner.

I entered this tune;

Despite it not been good, and only taking 15 minutes to create, this tune won. Mainly because it was the only tune entered into the competition, but that’s just a minor detail. My prize was a PC version of the Defender of the Crown Remake.

This is a brilliant 8-Bit inspired video, she if you can spot the all games and the Company logos.

This week I’ve got a C64 remix for you. It’s Rob Hubbard’s “Nemesis The Warlock” remixed by Hazel, who also made the video.

This week’s track is by The Commodore 64 Revival Band PRESS PLAY ON TAPE. It’s one of their own compositions and a tribute to the single strongest theme in the history of gaming The Man With the Gun. I think both the song and video are excellent, I hope you do.

It’s the last Monday in February so it’s the last Amiga Music Monday. I’ve saved the best until last, composed by my close personal friend Allister Brimble (we’ve never met) it’s the title tune from the Team 17 classic Alien Breed.

For this weeks Amiga Music Monday I share the Introduction tune from Lotus 2 composed by the often under-rated Barry Leitch.

Today’s Amiga Music Monday was Composed by Chris Hülsbeck and is the Intro tune from the brillant Turrican 2.

Great news, everybody! February is Amiga Music Monday month. Starting today the February’s four Mondays will be a celebration of  classic Commodore Amiga track, from the very best Amiga musicians.

Kicking us off  is the title screen music from the game Jaguar XJ220 Composed by Martin Iveson and released in 1992 by Core Design.
