Courage Wolf Wednesday – Who is Courage Wolf

Since last weeks Courage Wolf post I’m had literally zero’s of questiosn about him, so here’s the story.

Like most things on the internet Courage Wolf came from 4chan as a varation of the popular internet meme Advice Dog

Advice Dog is a series of popular image macros which originated in the Summer of 2008. A typical example of Advice Dog depicts a cute puppy’s face against the background of a color wheel, often accompanied by ridiculous instructions or unrelated advice such as the following;

It is said that Advice Dog originated on Mario’s fansite forum in September 2006 by a user named “TEM”. The original dog’s name is Boba Fett, and the original photo was taken on July 2006. However that probably is completely made up.

Since its debut, the series has spawned off several spin-offs (which we will cover next week), the most notably of these being my Life Coach, Courage Wolf.

Courage Wolf also gives advice, but in contrast to Advice Dog, who might unknowingly lead you to do something you’ll regret, Courage Wolf will help you achieve greatness.
