Pointless Nostalgia

After not updating for a month, I hope an update with lots of pictures will placate you. I was going through the cupboard upstairs over the weekend and I found loads of old stuff you might be interested in.

Firstly, I've got a load of old Middlesbrough programmes from the early seventies onwards, including the programme from first match the 1986/1987 season after we went into liquidation.

Programme

I also found a couple of copies of Fly me to the Moon (the Middlesbrough FC fanzine) from 1991.

A couple of tickets subs from Robbie Mustoe's Testimonal. I think this is the match were Jason Gavin scored an own goal.

A programme and Riverside Roar magazine signed by Mark Schwarzer and Robbie Stockdale for the Middlesbrough Vs. Cheslea match (19th Dec 2000). The reason I got the signature is I got corporate hospitality tickets threw work, and we got to meet a couple of players after the match. We won 1-0 and I got very drunk, co-indecently I also got engaged that day.

An official programme, some magazine ands newspaper before and after we won the Carling Cup in 2004

And finally, on a completely different note, my leaving card from when I left Startek. The last comment comes as a big surprise to me, I can't remember making anyone else Tea. That just doesn’t sound like me.

Conor’s first Karate grading

Conor had his first Karate grading at the weekend. I was so nervous for him I could barely watch I don't think I've ever been nervous when someone one else on the spot rather than myself, but he did very well and passed so he is now and Yellow and White belt. His cousin (my neice) was also being graded at the same level, but I was so worried about Conor I didn't even notice her up on the mat. However I am told she also did very well too, and she must have because she passed too.

I've included a picture of Conor sporting his new belt for the first time.
